We are HIRING for a Dock Attendant
The Job Center Staffing is hiring on 1st shift for a Dock Attendant in Anderson Township
This is a great opportunity for a temp to hire placement.
Compensation/Shift/Benefits for Dock Attendant
- Hourly wage: $16.80 per hour
- Shift: M-Thurs 6am-2:30pm & Fri 4am-Noon
- Benefits Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO
- Eligibility for the Work and Win program – Rent/Mortgage paid for a year
Responsibilities for Dock Attendant
- Operate a forklift to load and unload trailers.
- Wrap customer orders using an automated pallet wrapper.
- Work with distribution auditors to ensure product is loaded on correct trailers.
- Ensure customer paperwork is correct before it ships.
- Ensure all orders have the correct packing slips and labels applied.
- Correctly load wrapped pallets in the correct carriers’ trailers
- Do other duties as assigned.
Requirements for Dock Attendant
- Mental, visual, and manual dexterity must be maintained while on the floor.
- Must be able to pass our forklift certification/recertification course.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must be able to stand, lift, and bend for the entire shift.
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs. Lift is provided.
- Must be comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
- Must have proficient math skills and be able to read, write, add, and subtract
