Shipping Clerk – 1st Shift
The Job Center is now hiring Shipping Clerk in Loveland OH. This position is for a company handling Mattr Infrastructure products. Currently hiring full time employees for 1st shift! Clerical work experience required!
Compensation of Shipping Clerk:
- 1st shift: $19 per hour
- Paid Weekly on Fridays
- Benefits Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and PTO.
Schedule of Shipping Clerk:
- 1st: 8am-5pm M-F
- Overtime daily
Responsibilities of Shipping Clerk:
- Operation of all shipping and receiving equipment including (bar code scanners, industrial lifting equipment, BPCS computer system for inventory transactions, UPS maxi ship system).
- Operation & Operator’s Licensing of Order Picker, Reach Truck and Fork Truck.
- Responsible for verification of all material handler accuracy.
- Ensuring that shipments are processed.
- Ensuring that shipments are packaged properly.
- Picking orders from stock to fill.
- Packing materials in accordance with internal standards as well as customer requirements.
- Labeling of material with internal and/or customer requirements.
- Packing freight for pick up by LTL carries, U.S. mail, and Fed-X
- Keeping the area in and around workstation clear of trash and debris.
- Meeting and performing requirements of job description.
- Must demonstrate the desire to consistently deliver quality products to the customer.
Requirements of Shipping Clerk:
- Strong math skills.
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Basic understanding of computer software.
- Ability to comprehend verbal and written work instructions.
- Ability to operate industrial equipment.
- A strong knowledge of company shipping and receiving procedures.
