Warehouse Receiving 

Job Summary: The Warehouse Receiving Associate will be responsible for receiving and stocking of
inventory through the operation of a reach truck, order picker, counterbalance forklift, pallet jack, and
hand cart. The person will accurately sort, count, and inspect all incoming purchase orders, return
authorizations, and intercompany transfers. Will utilize company WMS and scan devices to receive
product. Will assist management in tracking inventory and optimizing warehouse space. Will work
closely with purchasing and customer service on researching purchase orders and return authorizations.
Will work in tandem with accounts payable to ensure all time based discounts are being taken
advantage of.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Accurately receives and stocks product according to the established guidelines
• Count, sort, and verify all quantities of incoming inventory
• Utilizes the Warehouse Management System to receive all product
• Upkeeps the warehouse through daily cleaning and housekeeping
• Operates pallet jacks, tape guns, hand carts, and forklifts when necessary
• Maintain the safety and security of the warehouse MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• High School diploma or GED
• 1 year of high-volume distribution warehouse experience
• Ability to be trained and certified on powered industrial equipment.
• Experience in receiving or quality assurance roles
